The Imponderable

CompuData was one of my first business ventures. It was an incredible journey of trusting God for His provisions. I was contracted by Rick (my brother-in-law) to write software for the 'rent to own' industry. God put a great team together which included Reed (another brother-in-law) and it was obvious God had His hand on our pulse. We ran the race to win and were developing a great product, only to have Rick terminate employment with our customer and they cancel our software contract before completion. With no income, the business collapsed.

I remember sitting on the steps in front of CompuData in the Zocolo Plaza on my birthday. I was literally crying and asking why God? I had done all I knew to do in body, soul and spirit to stay in touch with God as I grew the business. Yet, I met with failure. It was one of those imponderable moments in my walk with God, that just didn't have any answers.

As God wrote the plan for my life, this business venture became just one of many that prepared me for the next opportunity in business and personal God designed growth.

"You're blessed when you feel you've lost what is most dear to you. Only then can you be embraced by the One most dear to you". Matt 5:4
